How we run a roofing job.
Seven steps, no surprises.
Every AE Roofing job runs the same way. From the first call to the 24-month follow-up. Here's what that looks like in practice.
You call or fill out the form
A project manager picks up the phone. Not a call center, not a receptionist routing to voicemail. If you use the web form, a PM calls you back within one business hour. The first conversation is short. Where's the property, what's happening, have you had a recent storm or do you just think something is wrong. That's it. We don't pitch on the first call. We schedule the inspection.
We schedule the inspection
Inspections are free. We run them seven days a week. Most Tulsa and Broken Arrow properties get scheduled within 24 to 48 hours of the first call. During active storm events we prioritize jobs with documented interior water intrusion first. We'll give you a window and call when we're on the way. You don't have to be home for an exterior inspection, but we recommend it.
We document everything
The inspection covers every surface. Drone footage of the full roof plane, ground-level photos of all four elevations, attic walk to check for moisture intrusion and decking condition, and close-up photos of every point of impact, every lifted shingle, every compromised flashing. Everything gets packaged into a PDF you can hand your insurance adjuster, your spouse, or your second-opinion contractor. We don't hide the findings. The full report is yours.
We hand you options, not pressure
The quote is itemized. Materials broken down by manufacturer and product line. Labor by line item. Every contingency called out in writing before work starts, not discovered mid-job. We present the options at your kitchen table or over the phone, your choice. Repair, full replacement, insurance scope, or cash pay. We walk through every number. There is no high-pressure close, no limited-time offer, no urgency manufactured to get a signature. Take the quote to another contractor and compare. We mean that.
You choose. We build.
Once you sign, we schedule the build date and lock in materials. A AE Roofing project manager is on site every day the crew is working. Not driving by. On site. The install crew is made up entirely of vetted, licensed installers. No day labor, no surprise crews. The same people who trained on our system are the same people putting the first shingle down. If a problem comes up during tear-off, a rotted deck board, a bad flashing detail we didn't catch from the exterior, we call you before we spend money fixing it.
Daily photos, clean site, magnetic nail sweeps
Every evening during the build you get a text with photos of the day's progress. What got done, what's next, when we'll be back. The site gets cleaned at end of each workday. Magnetic nail sweeps happen morning and evening. If you have kids or dogs, tell us and we'll sweep the whole yard on final cleanup. We take the haul. Nothing gets left behind. We have never had a homeowner report a nail in a tire, but we run the sweep anyway.
Warranty filed, 6-month and 24-month check-ins
Manufacturer warranty gets registered in your name within 14 days of completion. Not our name. Yours. You get the certificate with your address on it. Our workmanship guarantee is in writing and goes with the job, not the crew. We come back at six months and again at twenty-four months for a free follow-up inspection. We check the flashings, the ridge caps, the penetrations. If anything has moved or settled in a way we don't like, we fix it. No invoice. That's the end of the AE Roofing process. For now. We're here when you need us again.
Most problems happen when the process breaks down.
The majority of roofing complaints in Oklahoma trace back to two things. Skipped documentation at the front end, and no follow-through at the back end. Contractors who eyeball the scope and move on. Contractors who never come back to check their work.
The seven-step process above is not aspirational. It is what happens on every job. Not most jobs. Every job. If you're talking to other contractors, ask them to walk you through their process step by step. Ask who documents the inspection. Ask if they register the warranty in your name. Ask if they come back at six months. The answers matter.
The next storm
isn't waiting.
Whether your shingles are curling, your gutters are sagging, or you just want a second opinion before your insurer's deadline runs out, book the inspection. We don't charge for it, and we don't push for it.
