Leonard sits just south of Glenpool in the south Tulsa growth corridor. It is a small community, but it is close enough to the metro that the same storm tracks affecting Glenpool and Bixby reach here too. The I-75 hail corridor is well documented and communities along it see regular hail exposure during spring and early summer.
